Witch's Way
🧙♀️
With the witch’s wave of her wand, you see a wisp of smoke You feel freshly spawned, the new you hath woke Your fear is present, but not so powerful You are less pleasant, but a bit more tasteful You asked for a wish, to be quite the dish Although you meant appealing, the witch interpreted a different dealing Perhaps, in the end, it’s not so bad Your old life is over, but no need to be sad You can now enjoy your days, simple as they will be You can now explore the land, as long as you remain cage-free People will pay you no mind, no different than previous But you’ll have no demands, so your days are less tedious You’ll learn to enjoy this life, with each day you’ll grow bolder Just focus on yourself, and learn the pecking order That witch did you dirty, but also a small blessing No more need for fancy clothes, or really any sort of dressing Arguably for the best, as it allows you to relax You can now sit & rest, as long as the farmer isn’t wielding his axe The new morning is upon you, with bright & beautiful beams An urge takes over, to wake the world up with your screams So the witch had her way, and played with your phrasing But what can you say, you’re too busy grazing You’ll accept her trick, as your flesh begins to thicken You’ll get accustomed quick, to living as a chicken
